The Sentry Cove (English for sentinel Bay is) a bay on the south coast of King George Iceland in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located on the southwest side of Demay Point in Admiralty Bay .
The British Antarctic Survey surveyed and named the bay between 1975 and 1976. It was named after a dense row of whale skulls at the head of the bay, which looked like a sentinel . Scientists a Polish Antarctic Expedition named it in 1979 as Rajska Zatoka ( Polish for Paradise Bay , English Paradise Cove ).
