Seohara is a city in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh .

The city is part of the Bijnor district . Seohara has the status of Nagar Palika Parishad . The city is divided into 25 wards . It had 53,296 inhabitants on the cut-off date of the 2011 census, of which 28,065 were men and 25,231 women. The literacy rate in 2011 was 65.4%.

Seohara is on the State Highway from Haridwar to Moradabad . In the east of Seohara is Sahaspur , in the west Dhampur , in the south Raja Ka Tajpur and in the north the Ramganga River flows about eight kilometers from the city.
