The Seoul National University Hospital (SNUH), the University Hospital of Seoul National University . It is one of the oldest and largest hospitals in South Korea . Although the hospital has a further three branch hospitals, Boramae, Bundang and Gangnam , Seoul National University Hospital generally refers to the main hospital located in Yeongeon-dong, Jongno-gu , in downtown Seoul .
Main clinic
The main clinic of the Seoul National University Hospital is located within the Yongon Campus, which has housed the medical faculty of the Seoul National University since 1946. The campus is named after the Yeongeon-dong district in the Jongno-gu district where the campus is located. Better known as a location than this administrative name is the nearby theater and cultural district Daehangno , among other things because the name Daehangno (대학로, 大學 路) means something like University Street. The campus covers an area of 91,000 ㎡ and 27 buildings.
The clinic alone takes up an area of 88,146 ㎡ of the site and the clinic building encompasses a room area of 237,244 ㎡.
In 2013, over 5,948 full-time staff cared for a total of 628,627 inpatients and 2,168,055 outpatients. The number of operations performed was 55,052

Boramae Hospital opened in 1991. This clinic was originally established in 1955 as Yeongdeungpo Municipal Hospital. In 1987 the SNUH acquired the operating rights and since then it has been a branch clinic of the SNUH.
The Bundang Hospital and the Healthcare System Gangnam Center have existed since 2003. The Bundang Hospital was built in the planned city of Bundang in Gyeonggi-do Province . Gangnam Center is a diagnostic and preventive medicine facility, so it is not a general clinic. It is located at the subway stop on Line 2, Yeoksam Station .
