The Sepp-Doll-Stadion (formerly Kremser Stadion , renamed 1988) in Krems an der Donau , Lower Austria , has been the home of the soccer club Kremser SC since 1923 .
It was built on the area next to the Krems City Park, which was built with emergency accommodation for the Austro-Hungarian Army during the First World War . After the renovation in the mid-1980s - during which, among other things, the track on which speedway races were held in the 1960s and 1970s was removed - the stadium offers space for 10,000 spectators. The stadium has a covered grandstand in the north with over 1000 bucket seats. There are also three uncovered standing stands in the east, south and west. The Sepp-Doll-Stadion is a pure football stadium, which means that there is no running track around the field and the spectators sit or stand directly next to the field.
The facility has a lawn (103 × 67 m) with a 4-mast floodlight system and modern cabins . There are also two bars and two snack stands next to the grandstands.
