Sepp Hopfer

Sepp Hopfer (born March 19, 1898 in Graz , † April 2, 1982 in Sankt Radegund near Graz ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and a master painter. From 1955 to 1959 he was a member of the Austrian National Council .

education and profession

After primary school, Hopfer attended a community school and then graduated from a technical school, where he learned to be a painter. He trained to become a master painter and was honored with the professional title of Commercial Councilor .

politics

Hopfer became a member of the chamber council in 1946 and was involved as deputy chairman of the state and district organization of the Free Trade Association . He was also a board member of Volkshilfe . Hopfer represented the Social Democratic Party of Austria from February 1, 1955 to June 9, 1959 in the National Council.
