Serge Beck
Serge Beck (born May 20, 1955 in Geneva ) is a Swiss politician . From 1998 to 2007 he was a member of the National Council as a member of the Liberal Party .
biography
Beck began his political career in 1975 as a member of the local parliament (conseil communal) of Le Vaud . Since January 1998 he has been mayor . In April 1986 Beck was elected to the Grand Council of the Canton of Vaud . After replacing Jean-François Leuba in the National Council on September 28, 1998 , he resigned as a cantonal parliamentarian at the end of the year. In the 2007 parliamentary elections , he was not re-elected.
Beck is a farmer, married and has two children.
