Sergei Alexeyevich Lipinez ( Russian Сергей Алексеевич Липинец * 23. March 1989 in Martuk , Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic ) is a Russian boxer in the Light Welterweight and current world champion of the IBF . He is trained by Buddy McGirt and promoted by Al Haymon .
Amateur career

Professional career
In 2014 Lipinets started his professional career and played a total of 5 fights that year.
Already in his 13th fight he boxed against the Japanese Akihiro Kondo in the Barclays Center in Brooklyn for the vacant IBF world championship belt and won unanimously on points.
