Sergei Andreevich Koschewoi

Sergei Andrejewitsch Koschewoi ( Russian Сергей Андреевич Кошевой ; born November 10, 1961 in Rybinsk ) is a Russian administrative director. He is since February 1, 2016 chief administrator of the local government unit Stadtkreis Selenogradsk in Zelenogradsky District of Kaliningrad Oblast .

Life

He graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Water Transport in 1984 (now part of the State University of the Sea and River Fleet in Saint Petersburg, named after Admiral Makarov ). From 1984 to 1986 he served in the armed forces of the Soviet Union . From 1986 to 1987 he worked as an engine maintenance mechanic for the refrigerated ship fleet stationed in Klaipėda . In 1987 he graduated from the KGB high school and then worked for this organization until 1991. In 1992 he was the head of the group of operational information of the Center for Development of the Jantar Special Economic Zone (ru. Группа оперативной информации Центра развития свободной "экономичесткой" экономичесткой "экономичесткой").

From 1992 to 2005 he was Director General of the in Selenogradsk based closed joint stock company Baltijskije Awuary (ru. Балтийские Авуары), which deals in its main activity with the production of mineral water and other soft drinks. From 2005 to 2009 he was deputy head of the administration of Zelenogradsk Raion and from 2009 to 2014 head of administration of the city of Zelenogradsk. In 2014 he became Minister for Local Development and Home Affairs in the Kaliningrad Oblast Government . In 2016 he left the oblast government to take up the post of head of administration of the Zelenogradsk district.
