Sergei Ivanovich Lomanow ( Russian Сергей Иванович Ломанов; born May 22, 1957 in Krasnoyarsk , Russian SFSR , Soviet Union ) is a former Soviet bandy player and trainer.

Career

Lomanov began his career with HK Yenisei Krasnoyarsk in his native city. With Krasnoyarsk he was able to win the championship of the USSR ten times. In the top league of the USSR, he completed 330 games and scored 582 goals. In the 1980s he became an integral part of the Soviet national team , with which he won five gold, two silver and one bronze medal at world championships. In 1989 he moved to Sweden to the IK Sirius club from Uppsala . He stayed there until 1995, before returning to Krasnoyarsk to Yenisei for one season.

After his active career, he worked as a coach for Dynamo Moscow and Yenisei Krasnoyarsk. In 2006/07 he also worked for the Russian national team , with which he also won the world title.

He is the father of Sergei Sergejewitsch Lomanow (* 1980), who was also a national player.
