Sergei Ivanovich Shtogrin ( Russian Сергей Иванович Штогрин ; born  July 21, 1948 in Khabarovsk , Russian Soviet Republic , Soviet Union ) is a Russian Communist Party politician .

Life

Shtogrin graduated from the Polytechnic Institute in Komsomolsk-on-Amur in 1971 . From 1972 to 1973 he did his military service in the Soviet Army . In 1983 he was promoted to the party leadership of the CPSU of the Jewish Autonomous Oblast in Birobidzhan .

Between 1991 and 1995, Shtogrin worked in the financial sector and managed the insurance company "Logos". From 1995 to 2016 he was a member of the State Duma . He was a member of the 2nd (1995–1999), 3rd (1999–2003), 4th (2003–2007), 5th (2007–2011) and 6th State Duma (2011–2016) of the Russian Federation. In the Federation Assembly he represented the Jewish Autonomous Oblast from 1995 to 2016 .

On the XIII. At the KPRF party congress , Shtogrin was elected to the KPRF Central Committee on November 30, 2008.

On September 20, 2013, on the proposal of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the State Duma appointed Shtogrin as auditor of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation .

Private

Shtogrin is married and has three children.
