Sergei Michailowitsch Abramow ( Russian Сергей Михайлович Абрамов ; born September 15, 1959 in Kazan , Russian SFSR , Soviet Union ) is a former Russian ice hockey goalkeeper and current coach .
Career
From 1984 to 1999 he ran for Ak Bars Kazan in the Soviet Wysschaja Liga , MHL and the Russian Super League . With Kazan he won the Russian championship in 1998 . In 1999 he became goalkeeping coach at Ak Bars Kazan.
International
Abramov took part in the 1995 World Cup for Russia . He was also in his country's squad at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer .
