Sergei Sergejewitsch Suborew ( Russian Сергей Сергеевич Зуборев ; born April 7, 1983 in Moscow , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who was last under contract with Vitjas Chekhov in the Continental Hockey League until December 2010 .

Career

Sergei Suborew began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of HK Dynamo Moscow , for whose second team he was active in the third-rate Pervaya League from 1999 to 2003 . During the 2001/02 season he made his debut for the professional team of Dynamo Moscow in the Super League . The defender remained pointless and punished in three games. In the following season he came to another four missions for Dynamo in the Super League, but remained again pointless and punished.

In the middle of the following season Suborew moved to Krylya Sowetow Moscow , for whose second team he played in the Pervaya League and in parallel for the professional team in the Wysschaya League . At the end of the same season he left Krylja again and completed another seven missions for Vitjas Chekhov in the Wysschaja Liga.

In the summer of 2004 he was committed by Ischstal Izhevsk , for which he was active in the second division until 2006. In the 2006/07 season he went first for Yuzhny Ural Orsk on the ice, before moving to Kasachmys Satpajew after 22 games for Orsk within the league . For Kasachmys he ran in parallel in 20 games of the Kazakh ice hockey championship and scored two goals and seven assists.

The 2007/08 season Suborew spent at HK Chimwolokno Mahiljou in the Belarusian extra league, for whose second team he also occasionally appeared in the second Belarusian league. From the 2008/09 season , the left shooter was under contract with his ex-club Vitjas Chekhov in the newly founded Continental Hockey League , but left Vitjas in December 2010.
