Serkan Sözmen (born June 2, 1989 in Istanbul ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

Sözmen was born in the Bakırköy district of Istanbul and started playing club football in the youth of Galatasaray Istanbul . For the 2013/14 season, Sözmen left the Galatasarays youth department and switched to the TFF 3rd Lig for relegated Orhangazispor with a professional contract . After two years with this club, he moved to Kırklarelispor within the league . In this, he immediately captured a regular place and ended the 2010/11 season with this as a champion of the TFF 3rd Lig and thus promoted to the TFF 2nd Lig .

For the 2016/17 season Sözmen was signed by the third division Bandırmaspor . In the summer of 2016 he was the play-off winner of the TFF 2nd Lig with this club and was promoted to the TFF 1st Lig . After four years for Bandırmaspor Sözmen left this club and moved to the third division Altay İzmir .
