Serkan Yalçın (born November 2, 1982 in Izmir ) is a Turkish football player.

Career

Club career

Yalçın went through in turn the youth teams of Torbalıspor , Bozkaya Yeşeiltepe SK , Kemalpaşa Belediye Ulucak SK and Akhisar Belediyespor . In the summer of 2005 he received a professional contract with Akhisar Belediyespor and played here in four league games until the end of the season.

For the new season he moved to the amateur league at Torbalıspor . He played here until 2008 and then moved to Altınordu Izmir .

After he was active here for a season, he separated from this club and went to third division club Akhisar Belediyespor . At the end of his first season he was runner-up in the TFF 2nd Lig and rose to the TFF 1st Lig . The 2011/12 season ended completely surprisingly with the championship of the TFF 1st Lig and the associated promotion to the Süper Lig .

For the 2014/15 season, Yalçın moved to the second division Boluspor and played for this club for one season.

His older brother Hüseyin Yalçın is also a professional footballer and was active for Akhisar Belediyespor until summer 2011.
