The Serpent Nunatak (from English serpent ' snake ' ) is an approximately 750 m high nunatak in the north of the West Antarctic Alexander I Island . It rises from the Nichols snowfield .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it descriptively after its shape in 1977.
