Servius Sulpicius Camerinus Rufus was a descendant of the patrician family of the Sulpicians politician of the Roman Republic and 345 BC. Chr. Consul .

Life

The parents of Servius Sulpicius Camerinus Rufus were possibly the multiple consular tribune Servius Sulpicius Rufus and a Fabia. Nothing is known of his early cursus honorum . He exercised the highest state office in 345 BC. Together with Marcus Fabius Dorsuo , with whom he was perhaps related. His consulate is testified by the Roman historian Titus Livius , who mentions only Camerinus of the two cognomina , the Greek-Sicilian historian Diodor , who omits all two epithets, as well as several late antique consullists who each specify one of the two cognomina. Together with his counterpart Sulpicius was the strongly fortified city Sora that the Volscians belonged to conquer. After his consulate, he is no longer mentioned in the sources.
