Sescoi develops industrial software solutions for computer-aided manufacturing (CAM), business integration and increased business productivity. The company's WorkNC software is one of the market leaders in the CAD / CAM sector. B. in Japan used by more than 25% of companies in tool and mold making. history
Sescoi was founded by Bruno Marko in 1987. The name of the company is explained by the French acronym "Société Européenne Spécialisée en Communication, Organization et Informatique". Sescoi pioneered the development of 3D CAM software with the release of WorkNC in 1988. From the beginning, WorkNC has focused on automation and ease of use.
In 1992 the company released WorkPLAN, its first ERP software for make-to-order and project management. In 2001 Sescoi acquired the company Xitron and in 2002 the company Mecasoft Industrie, developer of SolidConcept . WorkNC-CAD appeared in 2002, WorkNC 5-axis in 2003. With MyWorkPLAN, a modular ERP software for project management was brought onto the market in 2006. WorkNC G3 followed in 2007. In 2008, Sescoi released WorkXPlore 3D, an extremely fast viewer for visualizing and analyzing 3D CAD models in teamwork, without the need for the original CAD application. In the same year WorkPLAN Enterprise was published, a complete ERP software for make-to-order manufacturers, companies in tool and mold making and design departments. 2009 brought Sescoi WorkNC Dental , a CAD / CAM software for automatic milling of prostheses, implants or dental frameworks, and WorkNC Wire EDM, a software for Wire EDM on the market.
