Sesostris (also Senusret ) was an ancient Egyptian mayor and temple director in Al-Lahun , who held his office at least from the ninth to the 24th year of the reign of Amenemhet III. exercised. Perhaps he was already in office under Sesostris III.

His predecessor was Nebukaure , his successor Chentichetihotep. He was also the father of Chacheperreseneb, who in turn was in the 37th year of Amenemhet III. was in office.

Lahunpapyri

Several correspondence between Sesostris and the head of the house Horemsaef , who performed his service in the mortuary temple of Sesostris II, have been preserved under the Lahunpapyri . In fact, most of the letters from the Lahun find in Berlin date exactly from the time in office of Sesostris. Various seal impressions are also known from him.
