The Sesseggen is a mountain ridge in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . It rises in the northern part of the Gjelsvikfjella mountain range near the Norwegian troll station .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 2007 based on the name of the neighboring Jutulsessen ( Norwegian for large seat ).
