The Sessums Glacier is a glacier in the north of Thurston Island off the Eights coast of the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It flows into the Henry Inlet there .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2004 after Lieutenant Commander Walter Maurice Sessums (1920-1970), helicopter pilot during Operation Highjump (1946-1947) carried out by the United States Navy to create aerial photographs of Thurston Island and the neighboring mainland coast.
