Seven Wonders is a fantasy book series by Peter Lerangis . The German translation was published by cbj-Verlag . It describes the adventures of Jack McKinley and his friends Cass, Marco and Aly in search of the seven ancient wonders of the world .

The colossus awakens
The first volume was published in German on October 27, 2014 ( ISBN 978-3-570-15846-3 ). The original is called The Colossus Rises and was released in February 2013.
Jack learns that he and his friends Cass, Marco and Aly are descendants of gods and that they have incredible powers. You must uncover the secret of their inheritance to save the world. To do this, they have to find the 7 ancient wonders of the world and solve their puzzles. The first thing to do is to go to the Colossus of Rhodes .
The beast of Babylon
The second volume was published in German on April 27, 2015 ( ISBN 978-3-570-17076-2 ). The original is called Lost in Babylon and was released in October 2013.
After defeating the colossus, Jack and his friends have no time to rest or rejoice. One of them is lost together with the 1st of the 7 magical vessels of the wonders of the world, and so they go to Babylon in the hanging gardens of the Semiramis .
The tomb of shadows
The third volume was published in German on October 26, 2015 ( ISBN 978-3-570-17114-1 ). The original is called The Tomb of Shadows and was released in May 2014.
After discovering in Babylon that one of the four friends is a traitor, the rest of them set off for the mausoleum of Halicarnassus , where an army of undead awaits them.
The curse of the king of the gods
The fourth volume was published in German on May 24, 2016 ( ISBN 978-3-570-17115-8 ). The original is called The Curse of the King and was released in March 2015.
Just as the hordes of the undead escaped the tomb, the journey of the three continues to the Zeus statue . This time, however, there seems to be no salvation as this shows itself from a completely unexpected side. Nevertheless, one of the friends is kidnapped.
The last fight of the demon
The German edition of the fifth and last volume was published on November 28, 2016 ( ISBN 978-3-570-17116-5 ). The original is called The Legend of the Rift and was released in March 2016.
In search of the last magical vessels and their friend Aly, the descendants of the gods now have to travel to the remaining wonders of the world. So it goes to the temple of Artemis and the lighthouse of Alexandria , before they face the god king of Atlantis in his home.
