Sex on the Beach

Sex on the Beach is in its original form a fruity, moderately sweet cocktail and belongs to the group of New England Highballs . The most famous recipe from the United States is with Cranberry - nectar mixed and also contains vodka , peach liqueur and orange juice .

Since cranberry nectar used to be difficult to obtain outside of the USA, for example in Germany, there are now many preparation variants under the popular name Sex on the Beach . These contain other juices, syrups, liqueurs and in some cases even other basic spirits such as tequila . Often the orange juice is completely or partially replaced by pineapple juice. Alcohol-free variations are often called Safer Sex on the Beach .
