Seymour Chatman

Seymour Benjamin Chatman (born August 30, 1928 ; died November 4, 2015 ) was an American film and literary critic .

Life

Chatman was rhetoric professor of University in Berkeley and is considered one of the most important narratological structuralists . He did research mainly on Michelangelo Antonioni and narrative forms in literature and cinema .
