Shōhei Ogura ( Japanese 小 椋 祥 平 Ogura Shōhei ; born September 8, 1985 in Chiba Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Ogura learned to play soccer on the school team at Shutoku High School . He signed his first contract with Mito HollyHock in 2004 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . For the club he completed 108 league games. In 2008 he moved to the first division club Yokohama F. Marinos . In 2013 he won the Kaiser Cup with the club . For the club he completed 142 first division games. In 2015 he moved to league competitor Gamba Osaka . In August 2015 he was loaned to the first division club Montedio Yamagata . In 2016 he returned to Gamba Osaka. In 2017 he moved to league competitor Ventforet Kofu . At the end of the 2017 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. For the club he completed 95 league games. At the end of 2019, he ended his career as a football player.
