Shōki Hirai ( Japanese 平井 将 生 Hirai Shōki ; born December 4, 1987 in Tokushima Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Hirai learned to play soccer in the Gamba Osaka youth team . He signed his first contract with Gamba Osaka in 2006. The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 2008 he won the AFC Champions League with the club . In 2010 he was runner-up in the J1 League with the club. For the club, he completed 60 top division games. In 2012 he was loaned to league rivals Albirex Niigata . For the club he completed 21 first division games. In 2013 he returned to the second division Gamba Osaka. In 2013 he won the J2 League championship with the club . For the club he completed 17 league games. In 2014 he moved to league rivals Avispa Fukuoka . At the end of the 2015 season, the club rose to the J1 League. For the club he completed 88 league games. In 2017 he moved to third division club Giravanz Kitakyushu . For the club he completed 27 league games. In the second half of 2018, he was loaned to fourth division FC Maruyasu Okazaki . After the loan ended, he was firmly signed by Okazaki.
