Shotai

Shōtai ( Japanese 昌泰 ) is a Japanese era ( Nengō ) from May 898 to August 901 according to the Gregorian calendar . The previous era name is Kanpyō , the following era is called Engi . The era falls during the reign of the Emperor ( Tennō ) Daigo .

The first day of the Shōtai era corresponds to May 20, 898, the last day was August 30, 901. The Shōtai era lasted four years or 1198 days.
