Shūhei Hotta ( Japanese 堀 田 秀 平 Hotta Shūhei ; born May 12, 1989 in Chiba Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Hotta learned to play football in the youth team of Kashiwa Reysol . He signed his first contract with Consadole Sapporo in 2008 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . At the end of the 2008 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . He played two league games for the club. In 2011 he moved to Albirex Niigata (Singapore) . In 2015 he moved to Songkhla United . In September 2015 he moved to Tokyo 23 FC . In 2016 he moved to the third division club Blaublitz Akita . For the club he completed 22 league games. In 2017 he moved to the second division Ehime FC . In 2018 he returned to Blaublitz Akita. In 2019 he moved to Nara Club .
