Shūta Sonoda ( Japanese 其 田 秀 太 , Sonoda Shūta ; born February 6, 1969 in Nagasaki Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Sonoda learned to play soccer on the school team at Kunimi High School . He signed his first contract with All Nippon Airways in 1988 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the Japan Soccer League . In 1988/89 he was runner-up in the Japan Soccer League with the club. For the club he completed 63 first division games. With the founding of the professional league J.League in 1992 and the associated reorganization of Japanese football, All Nippon Airways became the Yokohama wing . In 1994 he moved to the second division team Fujieda Blux (today: Avispa Fukuoka). In 1995 he was with the club master of the Japan Football League and rose to the J1 League . For the club he completed 71 games. In 1997 he moved to the second division Sagawa Express Tokyo . At the end of 1999 he ended his career as a football player.
