history

The Dörrwolf settlement was created as a tavern and forge by Leeskow with the name "Dürre Wolf". In 1818 the place had ten inhabitants. At that time Dörrwolf belonged to the district of Calau in the Prussian province of Brandenburg . According to the topographical-statistical overview of the administrative district of Frankfurt adO from 1844, the two buildings had eleven residents who were parish off to Ressen . In 1864 Dörrwolf had 19 inhabitants.

After the Second World War , Dörrwolf came into the Soviet occupation zone and was still part of the Calau district. At that time the settlement consisted of three residential buildings, and in 1949 a fourth house was built. In the following year, the district of Calau was renamed the district of Senftenberg after a regional reform . Since the GDR district reform on July 25, 1952, Dörrwolf belonged to the Calau district in the Cottbus district . In 1961 a water pipe was laid through the town. On January 1, 1974, Leeskow was incorporated into Lindchen with the Dörrwolf settlement . After reunification , the settlement initially belonged to the Calau district in the state of Brandenburg, and Dörrwolf has been part of the Altdöbern office since 1992 .

The district of Calau was merged with the district of Senftenberg in the new district of Oberspreewald-Lausitz on December 6, 1993 . In 1998 only two people lived in Dörrwolf. On February 1, 2002, the municipality of Lindchen merged with Bahnsdorf, Lubochow and Ressen to form the new municipality of New Zealand . In October 2010, twelve people lived in Dörrwolf.
