Local history

Allmosen was first mentioned in a document in 1536. A little later, in 1548, the place burned down. Together with the neighboring railway village, Allmosen belonged to the Cottbus rulership , which came to the Electorate of Brandenburg . The place name of Allmosen is derived from the Sorbian personal name Wolibud, the spelling was later adapted.

In 1861 a school was built in the village, and in 1864 a brick factory and a windmill were built. The volunteer fire brigade was founded in 1911. During the administrative reform in the GDR in July 1952, Allmosen came to the newly founded Senftenberg district . In 1964 it was connected to the water supply network. On January 1, 1974 Allmosen, on June 1, 1974 Lieske was incorporated into the municipality of Bahnsdorf . As a result of the change , Allmosen was again an independent municipality from May 6, 1990 . From 1992 she was part of the Großräschen office . On December 31, 2001, Allmosen was incorporated into Großräschen.
