Sharon Bolton

Sharon Bolton (born May 27, 1960 in Lancashire , England ) is an English crime and thriller writer .

Life

Sharon Bolton trained as an actor and studied theater studies and then a Masters of Business Administration at the University of Warwick . Her first novel was published in 2008; Her books have been translated into many languages ​​and have been nominated for numerous prizes, and her second novel, Awakening, received the 2010 Mary Higgins Clark Award.

Sharon Bolton lives with her husband Andrew and their son in a village in the Chiltern Hills near Oxford . Her books appear in Great Britain under the name Sharon J. Bolton .
