Sharon Dabney
Sharon Dabney (born October 25, 1957 ) is a former American sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run .
At the Pan American Games in Mexico City in 1975 , she was fifth in the individual competition and won silver in the 4-by-400-meter relay .
In 1977 she was fourth over 400 m at the Athletics World Cup in Düsseldorf .
In 1979 she won the Pan American Games in San Juan over 400 m and in the 4 x 400 meter relay and came in third place at the World Cup in Athletics in Montreal with the US relay.
In 1977 she became the US champion over 400 m.
She set her personal best of 51.31 s on June 20, 1978 in Westwood .
