Shawn Fonteno
Shawn Fonteno (born April 8, 1968 in South Los Angeles ), better known as Solo , is an American rapper , actor and voice actor .
Career
Fonteno achieved international fame through the game Grand Theft Auto V , in which he lent Franklin Clinton , one of the three protagonists of the game, his voice and his performance via motion capture . Before that, he was a voice actor for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas , but only in a minor supporting role.
Fonteno said that he dealt with the figure Franklin Clinton was able to identify good because he, like Franklin also, in a deprived area grew and the local Gang rivalries , violence and drug offenses has witnessed firsthand.
