Shea Fisher

Shea Fisher (* 1988 in Portland , Victoria ) is an Australian country singer . She signed her first record deal in April 2007 with ABC Music Australia.

biography

Shea Fisher's father, Eddie Fisher is a well known rodeo rider. At the age of three Shea took part in her first barrel race , at the age of seven she won her first junior barrel race. In 1997 she won the National Rodeo Association Junior Barrel Racing title.

In 1998, Shea Fisher and her family moved to Bellville , Texas , where her father participated in the Bud Light Cup Tour and PBR events. Shea herself participated in the Texas Youth Rodeo Association events. Shea also collected several titles in the USA, including the Junior Barrel Racing Championship, the Goat Tying Championship and the All Round Championship. After her father's rode accident, the family returned to Australia.

In 2001 Fisher sang the Australian national anthem at the National Finals Rodeo . In 2004 she was the first girl to take part in the APPA National Finals; In 2005 she became the Australian Professional Rodeo Association Junior Barrel Racing Champion. From 2006 Fisher appeared with her first band at music festivals and shows of the Australian Bushmans Campdraft & Rodeo Association (ABCRA). In 2007 Fisher's first album, Everyday Girl, was released .
