The Sheathbill Glacier ( English ) is a glacier on Mount Bird on the Antarctic Ross Island . It flows south of Shearwater Glacier .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named him in 1989 after the bird species of sheathbills ( English sheathbills ).
