Shelbie Bruce

Shelbie Bruce (* 12. November 1992 in Brownsville , Texas , as Lachelbre Annette Bruce ) is an American actress .

Shelbie Bruce's ancestors are originally from Mexico , so she speaks fluent Spanish as well as English . Bruce initially worked as a child model. Guest appearances and supporting roles in television series such as ER and Providence followed .

Her best-known and greatest role to date was in the 2004 comedy Spanglish alongside Adam Sandler and Téa Leoni . Bruce's biological brother also had a small supporting role in the film. In 2005, the actress was nominated for a Young Artist Award for her role as Cristina Moreno .
