Shenita Landry

Shenita Landry (born June 5, 1987 in Philadelphia ) is an American basketball player .

Career

The 1.88 meter tall winger comes from a basketball family. Her brothers Carl Landry and Marcus Landry also play basketball professionally.

Shenita Landry attended Temple University in Philadelphia. There she played until the 2008/2009 season for Temple University in the NCAA . For the 2009 season she accepted an offer from the Spanish second division club Codigalco Carmelitas and moved to Ourense. Due to an injury, she traveled back to the US before the end of the season. For the 2010/2011 season Shenita Landry was committed to the 1st women's basketball league from BC Marburg . For the 2012/2013 season she moved to the French second division team US Laveyron Drôme and from there to the 2013/14 season to Provence to the league competitor Pays d'Aix Basket 13.

• 2009: Election to one of the 10 best female players and one of the 5 best defensive players in the NCAA.
• 2011: 1st place with BC Marburg in the 2010/2011 Bundesliga season.
