Shenyang J-16 is a Chinese multi -role fighter aircraft and was developed by the manufacturer Shenyang Aircraft Corporation from two aircraft: the Shenyang J-11 BS and the Sukhoi-Su-30 used by China . It has a longer range and improved avionics . As with the supported J-15 Shenyang were introduced in the J-16-art system, inter alia, composite materials , AESA -Radar, radar-absorbing materials , missile approach warning , WS-10 - turbofan engines and improved electronic countermeasures .
It is a multi- role fighter with configuration, characteristics and role similar to the McDonnell Douglas F-15E Strike Eagle .
