Life

Born in Paris as the daughter of an Italian father, she could already be heard from the age of eleven to 14 in various radio competitions for the Carnival of Nice , in which she won four times in a row. At the age of 15 she began classical vocal training at the Nice Music Conservatory, which she broke off early. Then she sang her songs in piano bars along the Côte d'Azur . In 2001 she decided to move back to Paris, where she met Didier Barbelivien , who was her composer in the following years. In 2009 she was invited by Dani Lary to the show Le Château des secrets , which brought her in connection with Patrick Sébastien, who produced her debut album Les Divines in 2011 . It reached number 31 in the French and number 86 in the Belgian charts. Philippe Swan produced her second album Des mots , whose title song Je saurai t'aimer was a cover version of a title by Mélanie Cohl and Céline Dion (in this case under the title The Power of Love ). In September 2013 she appeared on the program Les Chansons d'abord , which had served as the format for the French preliminary decision for the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest in 2014 .

The station France 2 , who is responsible for the French participation in the ESC since 2015, announced on 23 January 2015 announced that Angell France with the song N'oubliez pas ( "Do not forget" dt .:) at the 60th ESC is represented . At the song contest in Vienna, she finally came in 25th.
