Virginie Pouchain

Virginie Pouchain (* 1980 in Saint-Montan , Ardèche ) is a French singer.

Career

Back in December 2005, France 3 , a French television station, had a casting called Et si c'était vous? ( What if you were? ) Called. The station's casting call was followed by 5,000 people, including hairdresser Virginie Pouchain . She and 21 other candidates made it to the final, of which 13 were selected by France 3 , 4 by France 2 and 4 others by the RFO . Virginie won after several knockouts. Rounded the casting and drove to the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 . Vous c'est nous was the actual song she was supposed to perform. But since she confessed on a French talk show that she didn't like the song, France 3 decided to send her to the studio and record a new song. The selected song was called Il était temps . With her song she finished 22nd in the Eurovision Song Contest . The single made it to number 57 in the French charts .
