Twin Twin is a French pop band that represented their country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen, Denmark .

Career

The group consists of the twins Lorent Idir and François Djemel (hence the name Twin Twin ) and Patrick Biyik. The band was founded in 2009 in Montreuil, east of Paris .

In 2014, for the first time since 2007, there was a public preselection for the Eurovision Song Contest in France , in which Twin Twin competed together with the boy band Destan and the singer Joanna. The songs were presented to the public on January 26th as part of the TV show Les chansons d'abord and the French were able to vote via TED until February 23rd . On March 2nd, Twin Twin was announced as the winner on the show. At the competition in Copenhagen , Denmark , they came last with two points.
