Frida Boccara
Danielle Frida Hélène Boccara (born October 29, 1940 in Casablanca , Morocco , † August 1, 1996 in Paris , France ) was a French singer of Jewish descent.
She celebrated her first successes in 1960 at the Rose d'Or Festival in Antibes . In 1969 she won the Eurovision Song Contest with three other singers with the chanson Un jour, un enfant . Besides France, it was particularly popular in Spain. She died of pneumonia and was buried on the Jewish part of the Cimetière parisien de Bagneux outside Paris (location of the burial site: 63rd Division, 2nd row, 4th grave) in Bagneux .
