Jean-Paul Mauric (born June 17, 1933 in Hyères , † January 5, 1971 in Marseille ) was a French chanson singer .

After studying music at the Conservatoire de Toulon , he worked as an orchestra singer. In 1957 he got a recording deal after winning a talent competition in Paris. He was selected for the Grand Prix Eurovision de la Chanson in 1961 and represented his country with the Chanson Printemps (Avril carillonne) . He reached the 4th place.

His career was suddenly ended by an illness. He died in 1971 at the age of 37.
