The Sherwin Peak is a 2,290 m high mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the northern part of the Queen Elizabeth Range of the Transantarctic Mountains, it towers 8 km southeast of Mount Chivers over the eastern flank of the Otago Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it on the basis of its own tellurometer measurements and with the help of aerial photographs of the United States Navy from the years between 1960 and 1962. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1966 after the ionospheric physicist James S. Sherwin, who was at Little Station in 1958 America V was operating.
