Shin Hyun-bin (born April 10, 1986 ) is a South Korean actress .

Life

Shin studied art theory at the Korea National University of Arts . She started her acting career in 2010 in the comedy Bangga? Bangga! . She received the Paeksang Arts Award for Best New Actress in the Film category for her role as a Vietnamese immigrant . She then got a leading role in the historical drama Musa Baek Dong-su , for which she was honored at the end of the year as New Star at the award ceremony of the television station SBS . Other supporting roles followed in film and television until she played a leading role in the television series Mimi in 2014 and in the independent thriller The Lost Choices in 2015 .

In 2018 Shin starred in the television series Mistress alongside Han Ga-in , Choi Hee-seo and Goo Jae-yi . The series is about four women in their 30s and their relationships. You are on a path of self-discovery. Shin plays a psychiatrist who meets her ex-boyfriend's son.

In 2020 she played one of the doctors in the hospital series Hospital Playlist . She plays the concise and calm surgeon Dr. Jang, who falls in love with her colleague, a pediatrician.
