action

Haine Otomiya is in love with Shizumasa Togu . When she learns that Shizumasa is going to the "Imperial Private Academy", she also aims to be admitted to this well-known academy. She manages to do this, but as an ex- Yankee , it is not easy for her to find her way around a school that normally only accepts young people from the upper class. To make matters worse, their crush Shizumasa is also in the gold class and president of the high school student council, which is why he is reverently addressed by everyone as "emperor". Nevertheless, she tries everything possible to get closer to her loved one, and the first progress is slowly becoming apparent.

Little by little it becomes clear why Haine fell in love with Shizumasa. But the closer she is to the emperor, the more she is drawn into the intrigues and plans of the rich. She also has to learn that the emperor is not who he claims to be. Haine realizes that she also loves Shizumasa's twin brother, Takanari Togu.

Characters

Haine Otomiya ( 乙 宮 灰 音 )

15-year-old Haine Otomiya was a child of the Kamiya family. For reasons that only emerged in the course of history, the then 10-year-old Haine was given up for adoption and "sold" to the Otomiya family. This was a very big shock to Haine, her reaction to being a Yankee was brawling with someone every night for some unknown reason. Shizumasa forked up the desperate grove on a street corner and gave her new courage to lead a regular life again. This event encouraged Haine to go to the Imperial Academy. Haine eventually became a cheerful girl who always says straight what she thinks. She is very hardworking and ready to fight for her goals. Your job in the student council is to protect the emperor as a bodyguard. In addition, Shizumasa made her his "alibi lover" and raised her to the platinum class. When she learns that her friend Ushio has several affairs with students at the academy, Ushio gives her an ultimatum: either she or the others. She decides for Ushio to "save" them. Haine later learns that Shizumasa is actually Takanari Togu, the twin brother of the "real" Shizumasa. At first she has feelings for both brothers, but when she finds out that Takanari is the real author of the children's book The Unforgettable Song of the Witch , she chooses Takanari. When Haine confesses her love to him, it is not Takanari who has his back to her, but Shizumasa, who then kidnaps Takanari, who comes running out the door behind Haine to protect Haine from Shizumasa. The next day Shizumasa announced that he and Haine were engaged. Haine is desperately looking for Takanari and gets a crucial clue from Takanari's aunt, who is a doppelganger of the real mother of Takanari and Shizumasa, since the mother has already died, who asks for her help to free him. At the dungeon, Takanari refuses to flee because he doesn't want to take away his brother's last happiness (i.e. groves). She also learns that she is not the biological daughter of her father Kazuhito Kamiya, but the daughter of Itsuki Otomiya, the man who adopted her. So basically he bought his own daughter.

Shizumasa Togu ( 東宮 閑雅 , Tōgū Shizumasa )

Shizumasa Togu is the chairman of the student council of the Imperial Private Academy and also the heir of the successful Togu group. As a child, Haine confessed her love to him and a few years later he promised her to fall in love with her too. However, due to a serious illness, he is unable to attend school. Thus, he can neither fulfill his family nor school duties nor meet groves with which he is now actually in love. Shizumasa-sama officially wrote the children's book The Unforgettable Song of the Witch . It is later known that he has leukemia and planned to die from the start.

Takanari Togu ( 東宮 高 成 , Tōgū Takanari )

Shizumasa's older twin brother is very closed and unapproachable. He represented Shizumasa as emperor at the academy and got to know groves there, which he made his platinum in order to hurt her and thus repay his brother something. But when Haine confesses to him her love and the reason for this love, namely his children's book (which Takanari actually wrote), he also begins to fall in love with her and decides to fight for her. Some time later Senri explains to Takanari (after the kidnapping, in the "dungeon") that his brother suffers from leukemia and needs Takanari's bone marrow to be able to continue to live Senri asks to go to the hospital to donate his bone marrow to Shizumasa.

Ushio Amamiya ( 天宮 潮 )

Ushio Amamiya is Haines best friend and at times the only one she can really trust. She is a quiet beauty who is admired by all men in school. She is also called "Miss Hydrangea". She has the position of general secretary in the student council. She is apparently in love with Haine, but in the end she realizes that she only stuck to Haine because she thought that this was the only one she really liked.

Maguri Tsujimiya ( 辻 宮 真 栗 )

Maguri Tsujimiya is the Vice President of the Student Council. At first he is the emperor's alibi lover, but he is replaced by Haine and has to admit that the affection he feels for Shizumasa only wanted to suppress his true feelings - namely his love for Yoshitaka (Maora).

Yoshitaka Ichinomiya ( 一 ノ 宮 由 貴 )

The boy dresses like a girl and is therefore initially mistaken for one by Haine. His nickname is Maora ( ま お ら ). He is responsible for planning and finances in the student council and owns a mini-sheep named Okorimakuri. Yoshitaka has been in love with Maguri since he was a little boy. He also has a little secret, because he's also the academy's postman.

Senri Narumiya ( 成 宮 千里 , Narimiya Senri )

Senri is the school doctor and at the same time one of the emperor's bodyguards. He is very interested in Ushio. Maybe he loves her too. However, it turns out that he was actually in a relationship with the real mother of Takanari and Shizumasas and after her death he swore to work forever in the service of the Toguz. He never takes off his glasses because nobody except Shoka, the mother of the twins, should see him without his glasses. Shoka's doppelganger is her twin sister.

Kusame Otomiya ( 乙 宮 草 芽 )

Kusame Otomiya is Haines stepbrother and is in love with her at the same time. He is 14 years old and the Vice President of the Middle School Student Council. He is the friend of Groene's biological sister Komaki. Since elementary school he has been collecting points to move up to the silver class.

Kazuhito Kamiya ( 香 宮 和 仁 )

Kazuhito is Tachibana's and Komaki's father. Haine is his stepdaughter. He was the 39th emperor of the academy and challenged Isuki as emperor at the time. He introduced the platinum class and made Maika his platinum.

Maika Kamiya ( 香 宮 舞 加 )

She is Haines mother and was the first platina. She met Kazuhito when she was dancing ballet and accidentally fell on him. At that time she also had a relationship with Itsuki, and that's how Haine was born. But Itsuki was not considered fertile, so she was a miracle. But Maika has kept it a secret that Haine is not from Kazuhito, but from Itsuki. But Kazuhito noticed it later, because the similarity to Itsuki could not be overlooked. As Haine was "sold", she gradually lost her memory.

Komaki Kamiya ( 香 宮 小 牧 )

Komaki is Groene's younger half-sister. She is Kusame's friend and incredibly in love with him. She also has a younger brother, Tachibana.

Tachibana Kamiya ( 香 宮 橘 )

Tachibana is Groene's younger half-brother and Komaki's younger brother. He feels a lot for his sister. He also has a steady girlfriend.
