The Ship Nunatak (English for ship nunatak ) is a distinctive nunatak in East Antarctica Victoria Land . In the Usarp Mountains, it rises in the center of the upper section of the Harlin Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it on the basis of its own surveys and with the help of aerial photographs of the United States Navy from the years between 1960 and 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it descriptively in 1970, as it is reminiscent of a ship at sea in the ice masses of the glacier .
