Shire Hall

The Shire of Quairading is a local government area (LGA) in the Australian state of Western Australia . The area is 2018 km² and has about 1000 inhabitants (2016).

Quairading is located in the western Australian "wheat belt" in the southwest of the state about 270 kilometers east of the capital Perth . The seat of the Shire Council is in the village of Quairading, where about 600 inhabitants live (2016).

The Quairading Council has nine members. They are elected by all residents of the LGA. Quairading is not divided into districts. The Council Chairman and Shire President are also recruited from among the Councilor.
