The Shoemaker Peak is a mountain in the Ellsworth Mountains of the West Antarctic Ellsworthlands . In the east of the Enterprise Hills in the Heritage Range, it rises 5 km east-southeast of Sutton Peak on the eastern flank of the Ahrnsbrak Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1961 to 1966. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1966 after Dawaine Allen Shoemaker (1932-2013), who in 1958 as a meteorologist at the research station Little America V was operating.
