Shōta Sakaki ( Japanese 榊 翔 太 , Sakaki Shōta ; born August 3, 1993 in Shimizu , Hokkaidō ) is a Japanese football player .
Career
During his elementary school he played in Shimizu Soccer Shōnendan, then in the Shimizu Middle School Football Club and then while he attended Seiryō High School in Sapporo in the U-18 team of Consadole Sapporo . There he also took up his professional career. He made his league debut for Consadole in March 2012 in the J1 League . With Sapporo he rose at the end of the season as bottom of the table in the J2 League . In the summer of 2015, he moved to the Austrian regional league team SV Horn . With the Hornern he was able to rise to professional football in 2016 as champions of the Regionalliga Ost.
After relegation from the second division, he moved back to Japan for third division team Tochigi SC in the summer of 2017 . With the club he was runner-up in 2017 and rose to the second division.
